Hello! I'm hicho_cafe, who introduces cafes in Fukuoka on Instagram.

The Yakuin area is dotted with cafes.

We would like to introduce some newly opened shops in this area, where cafe hopping is so much fun.

Grand opening on November 23, 2023! Crêpes COCO, a crepe shop where you can enjoy everything from sweets to savory dishes (Yakuin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

Crêpes COCO, a crepe shop that opened on November 23, 2023, is located about a 3-minute walk from Yakuin Odori Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line.

This shop has a unique feel to it, as it is a branch of the hospitality care salon "Juliet Green" located right next door.

Although take-out is the main focus, the store also has an eat-in space with three counter seats and one two-seater table.

It's great to be able to eat freshly made crepes right there and then.

There is a wide variety of crepes available, from simple crepes to those filled with cream and fruit, as well as savory crepes.

"Butter Sugar" where you can taste carefully selected ingredients

The simplest, "Butter Sugar" (500 yen), allows you to enjoy the original flavor of the dough.

The baked dough is generously spread with "Yotsuba Butter (salted)", which is made using raw milk from Hokkaido.

Then we top it off with raw cane sugar from Tanegashima.

Raw sugar is sugar before it is refined. It contains many of the minerals that would normally be lost during the refinement process, so it has the natural sweetness of sugarcane and a subtle honey aroma.

The finished crepe has a chewy center and a crispy outer layer.

The warm butter melts and combines with the sugar for a delicious treat!

The classic deliciousness of "Banana Chocolate Custard Fresh Cream"

The "Banana Chocolate Custard Fresh Cream" (750 yen) is filled with plenty of custard and pure fresh cream.

The custard is homemade and has a soft, sweet egg flavor, vanilla aroma, and smooth texture.

Add chocolate sauce, additive-free bitter chocolate flakes, and banana and wrap it up.

Just like the custard, the chocolate sauce is also homemade.

After rolling, top with fresh cream, bitter chocolate flakes, banana, and homemade chocolate sauce to finish off the roll.

The chewy dough is packed with a variety of sweet flavors. It was very satisfyingly delicious.

In addition to the standard items, there will also be seasonal limited edition items made with fruits and other in-season ingredients.

The photo shows the "Sugoku Kuri" (1,200 yen), which will be on sale until early December 2023. This is a luxurious dish that uses plenty of Japanese chestnuts from Kumamoto Prefecture. On top of the cream is an Italian chestnut. As the name suggests, this is a taste that allows you to fully enjoy chestnuts.

Amazingly, this shop also sells buckwheat galettes exclusively for eat-in.

In addition to classics such as "Bacon, Egg, and Cheese" (960 yen), various galettes will be available depending on the season.

The photo below shows the limited-time "Smoked Oil Sardines, Homemade Tomato Sauce, and Cheese" (1,200 yen).

They also sell alcohol and are open until 8:30pm, so many people drop by on their way home from work.
